WHAT TIME HAS COME, WHAT PEOPLE IT HAILS?

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

Imagine the times in the past and its people-

Who sacrificed their lives for these scruples.

Watch families of  today, where parents neglected;

Daughters are raped and one's sisters transacted!

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

There is no rule and no law as money is the obsession!

Hence brothers kill brothers and seek solace in religion;

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

Dumb and deaf form the Government, full of hooligans-

Where misrule abounds who  cares for the cries of citizens?

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

Talks of hunger alleviation are false promises of fake administration,

How can  poverty be eradicated if we are not a disciplined nation?

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

Corruption is in our veins, taking bribe is a matter of right-

So talk of moralities is useless when scandals fill our lives;

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

How will this nation fight the rising clouds of terror?

No noise can awaken our leaders from deep slumber;

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

What were those times when a lady with jewellery bedecked-

Embarked on a journey at night but without  a scratch returned!

What time has come, what people it hails?

Moralities,religion and integrity are on sale;

"Rajee" how will those days ever return when our big leaders--

Talk like parrots but rarely ever they are the promise-keepers;

कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;

कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम|
कैसा था जमाना, वह कैसे होंगे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान पे होते थे कुर्बान।

देखो आज के परिवार, मां-बाप का है तिरस्कार?
करे बेटी का ब्लातकार, बहिने बिकती सर-ए-बाजार;
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम|

सब पर पैसे का जुनून, न कोई कायदा न कानून;
ढूंढे मजहव में सुकून, भाई-भाई का करे खून।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।

गूंगे बहिरों की सरकार, उस मे गुन्डों की भरमार;
छाया चारों ओर अन्धकार, सुने कोई न हाहाकार।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।

यह भूख- प्यास के भाषण, झूठे वायदे, झूठा शासन;
कैसे भर पेट मिलेगा राशन, देश मे रहा नही अनुशासन।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।

कण कण में भ्रष्टाचार,रिशवत बनी एक अधीकार;
ऐसी घोटालों की बौछार, नैतिक बातें है बेकार।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।

देश मे छाया है आतंक, कैसे होगी उस से जंग?
चाहे गोली चले तूफान, नेता की नींद न होती भंग।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।

क्या वह भी था जमाना, गहनो से सजी जनाना?
रातों में सफर को जाना और बिना खरौंच के आना।
कैसा था वह जमाना, वह कैसे होंगे लोग?
जो दीन, धर्म, ईमान पे होते थे कुर्बान।

"राजी" दिन कैसे वह लौटे, झूठी बातों के है तोते-
आज के नेता मोटे मोटे, बडा नाम है काम छोटे।
कैसा है जमाना, यह कैसे कैसे लोग;
दीन, धर्म, ईमान है बिकता सर-ए-आम।
